Art has the ability to transcend borders and unite individuals across the globe through a universal language.
Born and raised in India, Anamika paints from its living traditions —the painted faces of Kathakali and Theyyam, the luminous murals of Kerala’s temples, and the colour, symbolism and mythology woven through everyday life.
Oil · Acrylic · Ink · Chalk pastel · Printmaking

In Kathakali, the story is told through the eyes. Across every series, Anamika returns to them — painted green and ringed in black, lined with kohl, half-hidden by a veil.
